Strength in collaboration

We are very excited to announce that this month Ali Al-lami and Rob Hone have joined services to form the Kent ENT Partnership. They frequently look after NHS patients jointly to provide the highest standard of care; and now via the Kent ENT Partnership, they will be looking after patients in the independent sector collaboratively too. To our patients and friends who have previously been treated by or who are following GH Medical on social media, we are delighted to announce that GH Medical is now part of Kent ENT Partnership.

Having started higher surgical training together in 2013, Ali and Rob went through their ENT training journey together, including revising alongside each other for their fellowship consultancy exam. They share similar practice credentials, and frequently operate together in procedures that require multiple consultants. They base their professional practice on exceptional standards, offering high quality patient-centred care.

What does this mean for the patient?

As Robert Hone and Ali Al-lami work collaboratively across Kent, this means patients will have access to an ENT consultant from the same team for a face-to-face consultation, particularly when one of them is unavailable or has other professional commitments – thus providing excellent continuity of care. By working collaboratively, they now provide services to a wider geographical area in Kent and the South East, with clinics already set up in Ashford and Canterbury, and new clinics starting in September 2021 at KIMS Hospital, based in Maidstone and Sevenoaks. This will significantly increase the availability for clinic consultations and operations for both adults and children as private patients. Both consultants will be able to collaborate on ideas and surgical expertise, therefore offering a customised and personalised care that is tailored to the individual patient’s needs.

Changes to the Kent ENT partnership team:

We are also delighted to announce that Lou Gedney has joined the Kent ENT Partnership management team to assist our Practice Manager, Rebecca Semmens.  By working together, Rebecca and Lou offer a seamless professional service which will increase their availability to answer your queries and make sure your journey with Kent ENT partnership is as smooth as possible.
